CANCELLED- Teaching Children through Music and Play

April 18, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Due to the President’s announcement of not having groups of 10 or more, this event will be rescheduled for a later date. Please continue to check our events calendar or call the store for updated information.

Presented by Let’s Play Music education- including Stacie Raddatz, Marianne Barrowes, and Liz Barnes

We are passionate about teaching children using research-based methods that are playful, creative, and fun. As musicians, educators, and parents, we want to partner with you to enhance early childhood education using music and play as the vehicle to teach through joyful experience! Learn how to maximize your effectiveness as a preschool or homeschool teacher, Primary music leader, or invested parent. Come get hands-on experience teaching folk songs and LDS Primary songs using simple, proven methods that make learning stick. Every Primary and Nursery music leader should attend to learn how to engage every child and make the most of every single singing time.

Stacie’s greatest passions are singing, enriching children’s lives through music and helping others effectively do the same. She has sung all over the world performing with groups including the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Utah Opera and BYU Singers. She has a degree in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy from Brigham Young University and has trained as a Suzuki voice teacher. She has taught piano and voice privately for years and enjoys directing church and school choirs. She also teaches Let’s Play Music group classes to young children. She has served as the Stake Music Chairperson in many different stakes and as the Primary music director and choir director in every ward where she has lived.
