Mike Paine has a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Guitar Performance From the University of Utah. He has been playing guitar and performing for over 30 years and has played lead guitar on tour for Country stars Collin Raye and Jamie O’Neal.  Mike also toured off and on as guitarist for international recording artist, Alex Boyé for thirteen years. In addition to entertaining audiences at home and abroad, Mike has also recorded in Nashville with several A-list musicians, including members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kenny Rodgers’ band, Jewel’s band and more.  In addition to playing guitar, Mike also studied classical voice for over 8 years. After teaching for fifteen years, and in addition to performing, Mike has gained experience in all styles of music including Rock, Metal, Jazz, Country, Alternative, Pop, Funk, Classical and Broadway. In addition, Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism.  Mike loves to teach and relishes in sharing his knowledge and experience to the up and coming generations of guitar players.
