Day Murray Music Hosts Esteemed Judges for Federation Festival

March 13th, 2025

This past week, Day Murray Music had the honor of welcoming a panel of distinguished judges for the National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC) Festival. This annual event is a highly anticipated opportunity for young musicians to showcase their talent, receive valuable feedback, and grow in their musical journey.

The Federation Festival, a program organized by NFMC, is designed to encourage music education and performance. Students of all ages participate by performing prepared pieces in front of experienced judges, who provide constructive evaluations rather than competitive rankings. This approach fosters a supportive environment where musicians can develop their skills and confidence.

We were privileged to host expert judges who brought their years of experience and deep appreciation for music to this year’s festival. Their insightful feedback helped guide students in refining their technique, interpretation, and stage presence. It was a wonderful experience seeing young artists perform and gain the motivation to continue their musical growth.

We must have seen several hundred performances throughout the event. This moment below, features some of our esteemed judges who made this festival a success!

At Day Murray Music, we are proud to support the musical community by providing space and resources for events like these. Congratulations to all the students who participated, and a heartfelt thank you to the judges for sharing their expertise and passion for music!
