Sheryl teaches piano, guitar, and flute to students of all ages from beginning to intermediate and advanced levels. She has played the piano since 6 years of age and added flute while still in elementary school and acoustic, classical and electric guitar later as an adult, including 22 years of her own musical training. She has played as a soloist and accompanist for vocal and instrumental solos, choirs and plays and has played in bands, orchestras, and small groups, at churches, schools and other public settings. Sheryl loves to teach and would especially love to help you have a great experience with music, whether you are starting from “scratch” or continuing from where you are now. You get to help choose the scope of your learning, whether you are just interested in sight reading or if you have always wanted to create your own original music. Music participation is empowering and fun! So get ready to have a great time making and sharing music!
